Our Story

ORIGINS: Surprise Industries was founded by three New Yorkers (Kat Dudina, Tania Luna, and Maya Gilbert). Since the idea's inception in June 08, the founders turned their lives upside down to help it grow to its full potential.

MISSION: We're out to inspire a shift in the way people experience the world. We want to encourage positive risk taking, passionate living, and openness to new experiences.

OUR VALUES: We make decisions based on these core values: (1) Create win-win relationships, (2) Under promise and over deliver, (3) Never say "no", (4) Think bigger, and (5) Play!

FUN FACTS:
- Surprise Industries was originally called GoLearnSomething.com (Yikes!)
- Our first Surprise was a DJing class in February 2009.
- Two of our Agents were originally clients; one was our very first client.
- Collectively, we know seven languages.
- The happy, jumping people on the website are all guests from our launch party.
